County Government in Connecticut
When working with buyers from out-of-state, I find many of them concerned about county government, especially as it will influence their real estate taxes. There are no county taxes in Connecticut. Although there are eight counties in Connecticut, Connecticut has no county government. Below the state level, governing units are either cities or towns. Information on individual towns can be found on town websites, and information on Connecticut State Government can be found by accessing the State of Connecticut Website.
